Photo 10/52 - RISE Week 2011

I spent the past week photographing RISE Week 2011, which is a conference for and by entrepreneurs created by RISE Global.  It was a really awesome experience that allowed me to meet many new friends and listen to many great entrepreneurs tell their stories.  I took several hundred photos throughout the events I attended during the week, so I just picked a few that I liked!

I realized this morning that I didn't have a photo to post on here for this week so I took this photo from my gate when I left for church around 7:30 am. I love the light burst that is created when light is captured with a camera!

Photo 8/52 - Two Unrelated But Awesome Things

This is coming a little late this week but I have a good excuse!  I've been busy!  OK maybe that's not a good excuse but I'm using it anyway.  The photos on the left are included here because of what I did on Saturday.  I spent the day in San Antonio getting certified to teach Zumba^® which, for those of you who don't know, is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness program (or my favorite definition "exercise in disguise").  The photos are extracted from a larger photo of a label that comes attached to Zumba^® clothing.  The percentage breakdown shows what the clothes are made of but I think it shows what you receive when you participate in Zumba^®.  If you have never tried it, I highly recommend it! 

The photo on the right is the first glimpse into my new photography studio!  It is a work-in-progress but my goal is to have it completed by April 1st.  Next step is flooring!

Photo 7/52 - A Real Texas Wedding

This Saturday I had the privilege of photographing a real Texas Wedding at the beautiful 9E Ranch Bed and Breakfast in Bastrop.  The lovely couple rode their horses up to a gazebo sitting at the top of the hill and exchanged the heartfelt vows they had written to each other.  This was a very peaceful moment as the bride and groom listened to the words of the Pastor and looked off into the forest of pines.
